Purpose: Simply, to give back.
The intent is to provide financial assistance to a needy girl or boy who participates in the Brainerd football program; BYAA through high school.
This assistance may be for needed equipment (example: football protective gear, garments, etc.), participation registration, and strength training fees, to enable the recipient to play the game safely and joyfully.
Funding will not be used or distributed for participation on a traveling team, private strength training, or recruiting camp fees.
Contributions to the Legacy Football Fund will be administered by the Brainerd Sports Boosters. Donations (of any amount) should be directed to the Boosters with the designation Brainerd Sports Boosters / Stolski Legacy Football Fund.
Criteria:
The request for the funds must be initiated by a qualified individual or entity on behalf of the individual making the request.
Examples: the district athletic directors, a coach of a district team, the BYAA commissioner, BWFA designee, a valued member of the community, or Ron Stolski and/or his designee.
In the unlikely event that requests in any given year should exceed the fund balance, requests may be limited annually to ensure that the fund can stay solvent enough to provide funds for many players for many years.
